Baktygul Yeldenovna Tastemirova was born on September 4, 1968, in the village of Sorvenok, Markakol District, East Kazakhstan Region, Kazakhstan.
In 1986, she graduated from the M. Lomonosov Secondary School in Zaisan. In 1988, she enrolled at the Kazakh Agricultural Institute, awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, majoring in Vocational Training in Special and Technical Disciplines. In 1994, she graduated with distinction and obtained the qualification of Engineer-Educator.
Education and Professional Experience
From 1994 to 2003, she worked as a lecturer at the Civil Defence Department of the Kazakh Agricultural Institute.
From 2003 to 2006, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation named after Professor L. E. Tazhibayev.
From 2006 to 2018, she held the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies.
In 2012, she enrolled in the master's programme in Agricultural Machinery and Technology (specialty 6M080600) at the Kazakh National Agrarian University. In 2014, she was awarded the academic degree of Master of Agricultural Sciences.
From 2012 to 2013, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of General Technical Disciplines and Electric Power Engineering at Almaty University of Humanities and Technology.
From 2013 to 2018, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technology at the Kazakh National Agrarian University.
From 2018 to 2021, she pursued doctoral studies in Water Resources and Water Use (specialty 6D080500) at the Kazakh National Agrarian University.
From 2019 to 2023, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Natural Sciences at the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology.
Throughout her professional career from 1994 to 2023, she gained extensive experience in teaching and academic activities, including delivering lectures and practical classes, organizing educational and methodological work, developing students’ professional competencies, and participating in research activities.
Academic Degree and Research Activities
In 2024, Baktygul Yeldenovna Tastemirova defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Geoecological Justification of the Limiting Technogenic Load on the Catchment Area of the Tobol River Basin” in the specialty 6D080500 – Water Resources and Water Use at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
On January 25, 2024, in accordance with the applicable regulations governing the award of academic degrees and the relevant decision of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Baktygul Yeldenovna Tastemirova was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Water Resources and Water Use (specialty 6D080500).
Baktygul Yeldenovna Tastemirova has participated in the implementation of grant-funded research projects.
Throughout her professional career, she has established herself as a qualified lecturer, an experienced researcher, and a responsible professional. She continuously works to improve her professional qualifications and actively contributes to the development of educational programmes, research activities, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector. She is respected by her colleagues and held in high regard by students.
