Kassymbayev Bekbossyn Myrkassymovich was born in 1964; he is of Kazakh nationality. He graduated from the Kazakh State Agrarian University with a degree in “Professional Training and Special Technical Disciplines.” From 2008 to 2010, he completed his Master's studies at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in the specialty “Technological Machines and Equipment” and was awarded the academic degree of Master of Technical Sciences. Between 2011 and 2014, he completed his doctoral studies at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in the specialty 6D080600 – “Agrarian Machinery and Technologies.” He defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Research and Improvement of a Multifunctional Solar Dryer-Greenhouse for the Production of Fruit and Berry Products” and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty “Agrarian Machinery and Technologies” (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 232 dated February 20, 2017). From 1986 to 1996, he worked as a master of vocational training, a teacher of specialized disciplines, and a Deputy Director for vocational and production work at the vocational-technical school in the village of Zhalanash, Almaty region. Between 1996 and 2006, he was engaged in individual entrepreneurship in the field of freight transportation and vehicle repair. From 2006 to 2014, he served as a teacher of specialized disciplines at the Almaty Construction and Technical College. Since 2010, he has worked as an assistant, head of the laboratory, and senior lecturer at the Kazakh National Agrarian University. Since 2016, he has held the position of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Associate Professor at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. By Order No. 1292 of the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated July 28, 2025, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (Docent) in the scientific field of “Multidisciplinary Agricultural Sciences.”
Kassymbayev B.M. has served as a researcher for a number of scientific projects implemented under grant funding, including the following topics: “Development of Energy-Saving Technology for Year-Round Production and Processing of Fruit and Vegetable Products Based on a Polyfunctional Solar Dryer-Greenhouse,” “Technology and Equipment for Feed Preparation for Storage in Soft Vacuum Containers for Cattle Feeding,” and “Development of Intensive Technology for Processing Honeycombs into Bee Bread and Wax Raw Materials by Modernizing Technical Means in the Conditions of Beekeeping Farms in Kazakhstan.” Currently, he is the project leader for a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2025–2027) on the topic “Technology of Haylage Preparation and Storage by Developing Technical Means for Vacuum Sealing of Crushed Plants in Soft Polymer Containers in the Conditions of the Almaty Region.”
As part of career guidance activities, he works closely with schools in the Kegen district of the Almaty region. He continuously works on his professional development and takes an active part in the advancement of educational programs, scientific research activities, and the training of highly qualified personnel for the agricultural sector. Kassymbayev B.M. is actively involved in the community work of the department. He has published more than 40 scientific works, including 5 patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 7 articles in the Scopus database; his h-index is 3.
