Dissertation Defenses Held on October 30 at the Dissertation Council in the Field of Study 8D081 “Crop Production”
On October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., dissertation defenses were held at the Dissertation Council in the field of study Crop Production, established at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
Zhankeldy Aitymbet, with the dissertation topic “Mycoses of industrial orchards and apple forests and ways to reduce their harmfulness in the south-east of Kazakhstan”, and Abunassyr Janbatyrov, with the dissertation topic “Development of biological measures for the control of basic apple pests”, defended their dissertations submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty and educational program 6D081100/8D08104 – Plant Protection and Quarantine.
Based on Protocols No. 14 and 15 of the Dissertation Council in the field of study 8D081 Crop Production, it was resolved to award Zhankeldy Aitymbet and Abunassyr Janbatyrov the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
