KazNARU STUDENTS RECOGNIZED WITH HONORS
A ceremonial event dedicated to summarizing the annual work of community centers was held in the Medeu district of Almaty. During the event, the one-year results of leisure center projects implemented across the city’s districts were reviewed, and organizations and active young people who contributed to the development of youth policy were specially acknowledged.
The main mission of community centers is to reduce paternalistic attitudes among young people, create conditions for their independent development, help them unlock their potential, foster a creative environment, and strengthen unity and harmony in society. The centers also provide opportunities for students to implement their own initiatives, participate in various clubs and projects, and grow creatively.
During the ceremony, community centers of the Medeu, Bostandyk, and Turksib districts presented their annual results and honored young people who made notable contributions to the development of the centers.
KazNARU students were also among those awarded. In particular, letters of appreciation were presented to Kuzen Nazerke Bekseitkyzy, Slamzhanova Shyrailym, Satybaldy Erdaulet, Duiseyingaliyeva Symbat, and Qalykazyuly Garysh.
Additionally, within the framework of the leisure center project carried out by the Almaty City Youth Policy Department, top participants received special awards. University clubs “Albeni’s” and “One,” along with active students — Slamzhanova Shyrailym, Kalibek Sandugash, Kabdrakimov Zhansanat, and Tasbolat Zhasulan — were honored with letters of appreciation and certificates for their contribution to the project’s development.
According to the organizers, such joint initiatives help foster active youth participation in public life and enhance their social responsibility. It was expressed that new initiatives and further achievements are expected within the project in the future.
