MEETING HELD UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE DEPUTY AKIM OF ALMATY, A.N. NUKENOV

On December 5, 2025, a working meeting was held in Almaty under the chairmanship of the Deputy Akim of the city, A.N. Nukenov. During the meeting, a number of key issues related to the ideological development and operational enhancement of the city’s higher education institutions were discussed.

Participants reviewed relevant directions for improving the educational environment, strengthening educational and mentoring activities within universities, enhancing academic culture, and fostering civic responsibility among students. Special attention was given to strengthening cooperation between universities and municipal structures, supporting youth initiatives, expanding academic mobility, and integrating digital technologies into the educational process.

The meeting also addressed mechanisms for intensifying preventive work among youth, improving communication efficiency within the university environment, creating a safe and supportive space for students, as well as strengthening the institution of curatorship and student self-governance.

In conclusion, participants emphasized the importance of close collaboration between higher education institutions and government bodies to address strategic educational objectives and build a modern and sustainable university ecosystem in Almaty.
