KazNARU STUDENTS CELEBRATED WORLD BREAD DAY

On 16 October 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) held an educational and cultural event dedicated to World Bread Day. Organized by the Department of Food Technology and Safety of the Faculty of Engineering Technologies, the celebration aimed to encourage respect for bread, preserve national values, and foster students’ creativity.

Students also presented a video created using artificial intelligence technologies, highlighting the role of bread in Kazakh daily life and cultural traditions.

The celebration continued with traditional dombra music, songs, dance performances, and a theatrical production. Through their performances, students emphasized the importance of respecting bread, appreciating honest labour, and preserving family traditions. Interactive games provided opportunities for participants to demonstrate their creativity and quick thinking.

The event concluded with a joint performance of the song “Студенттік өмірді сағындым” (“I Miss Student Life”), which became one of the memorable highlights of the celebration.

The event highlighted the value of bread, the hard work involved in its production, and the importance of preserving national traditions.
