KazNARU HOSTED AN OPEN DAY FOR GRADUATES OF THE “TURKISTAN AKHMET YASSAWI” PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE

At the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, an Open Day was organized for graduates of the “Turkistan Akhmet Yassawi” Professional College (Turkistan city, Turkistan region) as part of career guidance activities. The event was initiated by Professor Särsenbek Törékhanuly Siyabekov from the Department of Clinical Disciplines of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering, with the support of college lecturer Zulfat Gumarkyzy Kurakova.

During the visit, the guests were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering, Asylbek Maylybayuly Musoev, who provided a comprehensive overview of the faculty’s activities, educational programs, and the academic process.

A meeting was also held with the staff of the university’s career guidance department, which resulted in the signing of a memorandum of cooperation aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two educational institutions in the field of career guidance.

As part of the familiarization program, the graduates visited the Kazakhstan-Japan Innovation Center, the Plant Microclonal Propagation Laboratory, the Food and Environmental Safety Laboratory, as well as the Green Biotechnology and Cellular Engineering Laboratory. In addition, a guided tour was organized to the educational and scientific laboratory “Reproductology and Surgical Pathologies”, the specialized classroom “Innovations in Veterinary Medicine”, the classrooms of “Obstetrics” and “Pathological Anatomy and Parasitology”, as well as the Museum of Animal Biology named after Academician N.U. Bazanova.

During the event, the university management and academic staff provided applicants with detailed information about educational opportunities and the advantages of veterinary specialties, as well as guidance on choosing a future profession.

At the end of the meeting, the guests expressed their gratitude to the university staff for the warm welcome and informative program.
