«Renewal is the beginning of a new life»

On the eve of the great national holiday Nauryz, our university hosted a festive event filled with the spirit of spring renewal and unity. The celebration was organized by the teachers and students of the Department of Animal Biology named after N.U. Bazanova, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering (Group VM 23-05, under the guidance of curator Kambarbekov A.T.).

The event, held on March 19 in Educational Building 10, room 218, gathered a full house of guests, faculty, and students. A festive atmosphere reigned from the first minutes: to the enchanting sounds of Kazakh folk melodies, the hosts welcomed all attendees and declared the evening open.

In their speeches, the hosts highlighted the profound spiritual meaning of Nauryz as a celebration of nature's awakening, purity of thought, and the strengthening of friendship. Special attention was given to the Day of Renewal (Zhanaru), symbolizing the forgiveness of grudges, good intentions, and a look into a bright future.

The evening's program was rich and educational. University students prepared presentations on the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people:

• Student Sabina gave an engaging presentation on the history and intricacies of the ancient national game "Asyk", its types (Asyk atu, Khan talapai, Bes asyk), and its significance for fostering agility and accuracy.
• Student Ulbala shared the secrets of preparing the main festive dish, "Nauryz Kozhe", revealing the symbolic meaning of its 7 mandatory components as a sign of abundance and unity.

The culmination of the celebration was a masterful performance of a Kazakh kyui on the dombyra by Amirkhan, which left no one in the audience indifferent.

The event concluded with warm wishes for peace, health, well-being to every home, and prosperity to our country.
