Within the framework of the Nauryznama decade dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz, a curator hour was held on the Day of National Clothing by curators Seidalieva G.O., Medetbaeva S.A., and Nurzhaubaeva R.B. in groups IS 24-08 k, IS 25-04 k(t), IS 25-05 k(t). The event was aimed at promoting cultural heritage and strengthening national traditions.
During the event, students demonstrated the richness and diversity of national costumes. Special attention was paid not only to Kazakh culture but also to other cultures: along with traditional Kazakh attire, Turkmen national costumes were also presented. This highlighted intercultural unity and respect for the traditions of different peoples. Bright images, exquisite ornaments, and traditional costume elements allowed participants to better appreciate the richness and uniqueness of cultural heritage.
Particular attention was given to an educational presentation about the history of Kazakh culture and the significance of national clothing as a symbol of preserving traditions, continuity of generations, and national identity.
At the end of the curator hour, students participated in an engaging quiz, where they tested their knowledge of elements of national costumes, their purposes, and symbolism.
The event was not only educational but also inspiring, fostering students’ interest in national culture and promoting respect for the traditions of different peoples and intercultural dialogue.
