Lecture on the “Green Campus” Concept at KazNARU
A lecture dedicated to the “Green Campus” concept and sustainable development of the university environment was held at the Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU).
The Institute of Green and Sustainable Development organized the event. 20 students specializing in forestry and land resource management attended the lecture.
During the meeting, modern approaches to developing environmentally responsible university infrastructure were discussed, including the implementation of resource-saving principles and the promotion of environmental culture among students and staff. Particular attention was paid to practical tools for reducing the carbon footprint, organizing separate waste collection, and ensuring efficient use of natural resources.
Participants showed strong interest in the discussed topics and emphasized the importance of integrating Green Campus principles into the daily life of the university. Such lectures contribute to shaping environmental awareness among future professionals and strengthening KazNARU’s strategic commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility.
