KazNARU Hosts Regular Cleanup Day as Part of "Clean Kazakhstan" Campaign
The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) recently held a community cleanup day, actively engaging staff, faculty, and students in support of the nationwide ecological initiative, “Clean Kazakhstan,” launched by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The event was organized in line with the university leadership’s approved plan.
Autumn, a season when nature rests and is painted in golden hues, calls for extra care for the environment. The cleanup day aimed to foster environmental awareness, improve the university grounds, and strengthen ecological culture among the university community.
Over 500 participants, including administrative staff, professors, and students, joined the effort. They were fully equipped with shovels, rakes, buckets, gloves, and other necessary tools. Together, they cleaned areas in front of academic buildings and dormitories, maintained flowerbeds, cleared courtyards across all faculties, and tidied the Central Stadium and landscaped zones. Dry branches and fallen leaves were collected and removed, leaving the campus refreshed and well-kept.
“This event is a chance for our community to contribute to a cleaner, greener campus,” said KazNARU representatives. “By working together, we enhance our surroundings and promote environmental responsibility.”
