Studying in Lithuania: An Academic Mobility Experience
Studying abroad is not only an opportunity to gain new knowledge, but also a chance to broaden one’s horizons, discover another culture, and gain valuable international experience. As part of the academic mobility program, Paizhan Bekzat Galymzhanuly, a student of the Cadastre educational program at the Department of Land Resources and Cadastre, is currently studying at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania. He is gaining an understanding of the European higher education system and developing his professional competencies in an international academic environment.

During his studies, Paizhan Bekzat Galymzhanuly attends lectures and practical classes, works on academic projects, and exchanges knowledge and experience with lecturers and students from different countries. This experience allows him to view familiar academic subjects from a new perspective, expand his knowledge, and gain insights into modern teaching approaches. The cultural component of the program is also particularly important. Living in Lithuania provides an opportunity to learn more about the country’s history, traditions, and everyday life, as well as to improve communication skills in foreign languages. Being in a new environment contributes to the development of the student’s independence, sense of responsibility, and ability to adapt quickly to change. Participation in the academic mobility program is becoming an important part of the student’s professional and personal development. The knowledge gained, international connections, and practical experience open up new opportunities for his further education and future successful professional career.
Academic mobility is a step towards new knowledge, new people, and new opportunities!
