Scope and object of professional activity

A bachelor's graduate in the educational program “6B04111 - Assessment” is prepared for work on the basis of certification for valuation activities aimed at determining market or other value in relation to objects.

The objects of professional activity are: identifying the need for services in evaluating the objects of valuation, making business contacts, negotiating with consumers of services, concluding and concluding agreements with customers on valuation of the valuation object in accordance with the established form, valuation and compliance with the conditions stipulated by the concluded agreements .

Functions of professional activity

Bachelors in the educational program "6B04111 - Assessment" must be prepared to perform the following functions of professional activity:

- determine the need for services for the assessment of objects of assessment;

- to determine the total value of the value of the object of assessment, as well as the limitations and limits of application of the obtained result;

- discuss, at the request of the customer, regulatory and other documents on appraisal activities;

- explain to clients about the current legislation governing appraisal activities, as well as the legal requirements that must be followed in determining the value of the appraisal objects, to attract on a contractual basis other appraisers or other specialists to participate in the work carried out;

- to distinguish information about the subject of assessment for legal expertise, to establish the parameters of its competitiveness that affect its value;

- compose an accurate description of the subject of assessment, determine the methods of conducting the assessment in accordance with the assessment standards, establish the main pricing factors that affect the value of the subject of assessment, study the market and the cost of similar objects;

- to justify the use of valuation standards, methods of its implementation, adopted in the assessment of assumptions, to carry out the necessary calculations;

- decide in the case of determining when evaluating the object of appraisal, not the market value, but other types of value, establish the evaluation criteria and reasons that make it difficult to determine the market value of the appraised object;

- prepare a report for the customer on the assessment of the object in accordance with the established requirements for its form and content;

- to practice obligatory appraisal of appraisal objects in case of involvement in the transaction of appraisal objects belonging in whole or in part to the Republic of Kazakhstan or municipalities;

- to evaluate, on the basis of certification, appraisal activities aimed at determining market or other value in relation to appraisal objects;

- draw up contracts with customers on the assessment of the object in accordance with the established form;

- to carry out, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, civil liability insurance, which protects the rights of consumers of appraisers' services;

- maintain the confidentiality of information received from the customer, with the exception of cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
