KazNARU STUDENTS BRIEFED ON THE IMPORTANCE OF LAW AND ORDER

Today, KazNARU hosted a meeting aimed at enhancing legal awareness among young people as part of the implementation of the “Law and Order” principle.

During the meeting, representatives of the Medeu District Police Department informed students about legal requirements and issues related to legal responsibility. The event aimed to foster a strong legal culture among young people, prevent offenses, and promote individual responsibility for contributing to a safe society.

Irina Bykova, Senior Inspector of the Juvenile Police Division of the Medeu District Police Department and Police Major, addressed issues related to the safety of minors, public order, and the prevention of offenses. She also explained the legal requirements concerning minors being outside at night without their legal representatives, as well as liability for the illegal distribution of narcotic substances.

Maksat Imanbekov, Lead Specialist for Social and Legal Affairs at the Youth Affairs Department, emphasized the importance of young people knowing their rights and responsibilities, complying with legal requirements, and improving their legal awareness.

“Students should not only be familiar with legal requirements but also know how to exercise their rights and fulfill their responsibilities appropriately in everyday life. Today’s meeting contributes to a better understanding of these issues,” the specialist said.

Student Ombudsperson Nazerke Kuzen highlighted the importance of protecting one’s rights within the framework of the law, respecting the rights of others, and refraining from violations of the law.

The meeting was held in an open-dialogue format, allowing students to raise legal questions of interest and receive clear answers from the specialists.

The event was aimed at fostering a culture of respect for the law and personal responsibility among young people, preventing offenses, and ensuring a safe educational environment at the university.
