KazNARU Hosts Pedagogical Skills Development Course for Young Faculty Members
✅ From January 5 to 16, 2026, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), with the support of the Professional Development Department, conducted a 72-hour professional development course for young faculty members entitled “Pedagogical Excellence in the Context of Transformation.”
✅ The course was delivered with mentorship from the university leadership and leading experts, including: Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G. Ye. Alpysbayeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations R. F. Abazov, Vice-Rector for Educational and Student Affairs A. Sh. Yeralieva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Head of the Academic Process Content Department Zh. A. Kussaiynova, Head of the Registrar’s Office L. A. Omarova, Head of the Accreditation and Ranking Sector E. Kaipbayev, Associate Professor G. N. Skabayeva, and Leading Specialist of the Professional Development Department M. A. Aitzhan.
✅ The course program addressed systemic updates in the higher education system and aimed to provide faculty members with up-to-date professional knowledge. It also had a practice-oriented focus and was implemented across the following key areas:

teaching and methodological work;

field-specific scientific research;
-
educational and mentoring activities;
-
international relations;
-
development of JAOK;
-
methodology for teaching specialized disciplines;
-
pedagogical management skills;
-
pedagogical techniques as an element of teaching excellence;

psychology and an inclusive learning environment, among others.
✅ Upon completion of the course, young specialists of KazNARU were awarded official certificates organized by the Professional Development Department.
