Thematic Lesson Dedicated to Victory Day
On the eve of Victory Day - May 9 - Dossimkankyzy Aziza, a lecturer from the Department of General Education Disciplines, held an open lesson with the students of group LDO 24-19.
The goal of the event was to foster respect for the heroic deeds of the people during the Great Patriotic War, preserve historical memory, instill patriotism, and cultivate a sense of gratitude for peaceful life.
During the lesson, students:
- discussed historical facts and events related to World War II;
- learned about the personal stories of Kazakhstani war veterans and front-line heroes;
- completed creative tasks: they designed thematic posters and infographics illustrating the significance of Victory Day, as well as the slogans and symbols of the war years.
The students’ works were displayed in the form of a mini-exhibition in the classroom, adding visual engagement and creating an atmosphere of genuine respect for history.
Conclusion:
The open lesson took place in a warm and meaningful setting. Students demonstrated engagement, creativity, and a deep understanding of the importance of May 9. The class served not only as a method for studying historical material but also as a way to express gratitude to the heroes of war through creativity.
